1. Welcome
Welcome to SpoVote! SpoVote is a social sports app that lets you create sessions, vote on what to play, and connect with friends — all in real time. By using SpoVote, you agree to these simple terms. We've kept them short and readable on purpose.
2. Your Account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. One person, one account — please don't create multiple accounts or share yours with others. If you suspect unauthorized access, change your password right away.
3. Acceptable Use
Be respectful. Don't use SpoVote to harass, bully, or threaten anyone. Don't post spam, illegal content, or anything that violates someone else's rights. We're building a positive community — help us keep it that way.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. There is absolutely no tolerance for objectionable, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or illegal content or behavior on SpoVote. You may report any content or user, and block other users, directly in the app. We review reports of objectionable content within 24 hours and will remove the content and may terminate the offending account without notice. By using SpoVote you agree not to post objectionable content or abuse other users.
Inviting friends.SpoVote lets you invite people from your device contacts. Only invite people you actually know and who would want to hear from you — don't use invites to send spam or unsolicited messages. Your contacts are read on your device only and are never uploaded to us (see our Privacy Policy).
4. Content You Create
Sessions, votes, and messages you create belong to you. We display them to provide the service and make the app work. We won't sell your content or use it for purposes unrelated to SpoVote.
5. Paid Plans & Lifetime Access
SpoVote Pro is available as a Monthly subscription, an Annual subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. Prices are shown at point of sale and may change for future purchases.
“Lifetime” means the lifetime of the SpoVote service — not your personal lifetime. A Lifetime purchase grants Pro access for as long as we continue to operate SpoVote as a going concern. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the entire service — including in connection with a sale, merger, acquisition, or wind-down — and we'll give you as much notice as reasonably possible (we aim for at least 30 days) when we do.
All paid plans are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law (for example, the EU/UK 14-day cooling-off period, California's automatic-renewal rights, or chargeback rights granted by your payment provider or app store). Monthly and Annual plans renew automatically at the price of the chosen plan unless you turn off auto-renewal at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal anytime from your account settings or your app store account settings, and you'll keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpoVote's total liability to you for any claim relating to a paid plan is limited to the amount you actually paid for that plan in the 12 months before the claim. The service, including Pro, is provided “as-is” and “as-available” without warranties of any kind. Nothing in these terms limits any consumer rights you have that cannot be waived under applicable law.
On iOS, your use of SpoVote and any subscription you purchase is also governed by Apple's standard end-user license agreement (the Licensed Application End User License Agreement). Our handling of any personal information related to your purchase is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Service Availability
We do our best to keep SpoVote running smoothly, but we can't guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided “as-is” — we're a small team doing our best, and sometimes things break. We'll fix them as fast as we can.
7. Termination
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms — but we'll always try to give you a heads-up first.
8. Changes to Terms
If we update these terms, we'll notify you through the app. Continued use of SpoVote after changes means you accept the updated terms.
